Hadrian's Wall in the Days of the Romans - first UK edition

by Ronald Embelton and Frank Graham

With well over 400 illustrations, maps, and vignettes, 71 of them in color, this book describes what the Roman Wall was like when in use. Great background resource to help visualize this incredible structure, especially when reading history, or historic fiction which deals with this time period and geographic setting.

Book has blue boards with gold stamping on the spine.  The paper used in the book has a high sheen so all illustrations appear 'glossy', to very good effect.  This paper must be denser than normal, because the book is surprisingly heavy for its 8vo size and 320 pages. Dust wrapper is price intact at GBP29.95 and in mylar. Both book and jacket are fine.
