Fourth novel in the four-book series in the 'Saga of Pliocene Exile' series. Book and jacket are in near fine condition, as close to new as you can get. The book has green tweed cloth boards with the title in gold on the spine and the front boards. The jacket has always been protected and the book has been read very carefully. Straight and tight, there are no internal markings except for the author's inscription ''To Susan - best wishes - Julian May. The book is lovely, it just isn't crisp, hence near fine.

A very nice copy and part of a matching set of the entire series of four volumes, each book a first printing signed by the author.
