Aristotle Detective - first UK edition

by Margaret Doody

In the dawn of a September morning in 332 BC an eminent Athenian citizen is discovered brutally and bizarrely murdered. Young Stephanos is filled with terror at the sight, but a public proclamation some days later naming one of his own relatives as the murderer fills him with even greater fear, for under Athenian law, Stephanos will have to defend him in the courts. He seeks guidance from his former tutor, and to his astonishment Aristotle agrees to help him. The two partners unravel the mystery of the real murderer's identity, culminating in a gripping trial scene at the end. Author's first fiction novel.

Book has blue boards with the title in gold on the spine. Clean inside and out, very minor bumping of spine heel, corners , and light shelf wear to bottom boards, otherwise fine.
