Clothar the Frank - first CAN edition

by Jack Whyte - signed

Clothar’s story is the story of Lancelot —his past, his loves, his loyalty, and his destiny as King Arthur’s friend and betrayer. Following the death of Clothar’s uncle, King Ban of Benwick, and a brutal war of succession that pits his cousins against one another, Clothar is sent by his educator Bishop Germanus to Britain to find Germanus’ old friend, the reclusive Caius Merlyn Britannica. Merlyn’s young charge, Arthur, is about to be crowned king, and it is Clothar’s job to find Merlyn before the coronation in order to remind him of his promise: to establish in Britain a new order dedicated to the greater glory of God.
