Alexander was born in the middle of the fourth century B.C. and grew up in his father's great palace at Pella. This book is rich with scenes showing the military and political events of these years, dealing with issues such as the impact on the times of figures like Aristotle and Demosthenes.

Book is cyan blue cloth with silver stamped spine and M. R.'s initials on the front cover.
