Nine hundred years later young report Paul Tomm, while investigating the mysterious death of a local professor, discovers that someone is collecting them again. Paul falls in love with the one person who knew the professor and learns that the professor may not be whom he claimed, discovering in the process that the story he is chasing may hold the secret to eternal life.
