Personal memoirs of John Glenn, spanning Glenn's life from the Depression through World War II and the Korean War as a Marine test pilot.  Then on to the Mercury Project in 1959 and the early days of NASA.  Glenn flew the first manned orbital mission for the US on Friendship 7 in 1962.  He then spent several years in international business before becoming a U.S. senator from Ohio for 24 years.  Finally in 1998, Glenn returned to space aboard  Discovery, at the age of 77.
