Little Scarlet - first US edition

by Walter Mosley - signed

Just after the riots in LA in1965, the police turn up at Easy Rawlins' doorstep. A man was wrenched from his car by a mob at the riots' peak and escaped into a nearby apartment building. Soon afterward, a redheaded woman known as Little Scarlet was found dead in that building - and the fleeing man is the obvious suspect. But he's vanished.

Book has black boards, quarter bound with red cloth, with the title in silver on the spine. Purchased new with price-intact dust wrapper. I personally acquired the author's signature at a signing event at Powell's Books on July 19, 2004, at a signing event for 'Little Scarlet'.

Jacket is price intact, always mylar protected.
