Quicksilver - limited US edition
by Neal Stephenson - signed
Book one in THE BAROQUE CYCLE. Not the true first, but a signed, slip-cased
limited edition, this is one of 1000 special editions produced by Hillhouse
Publishing in conjunction with Harper Collins.
Gorgeous production printed on heavy paper stock, oversized 7x10 trim size, with
two color printing throughout. Much different from the trade edition. The volume
is numbered and signed by the author and is hand-bound in steel-gray-colored
Japanese silk. The book is housed in a handsome slipcase also covered in the
same Japanese silk with a die-cut aperture for The Quicksilver icon. The
slipcase features a silk ribbon pull for easy removal. A pristine unread copy,
very fine in all respects.
Included in this purchase was a signed first trade edition of 'The Confusion' as
well as a signed and numbered custom made poster
with a limitation of 150 copies featuring a cryptic
message written in the 17th century philosophical language called Real Character.
